So I've been on the new thyroid medicine for 3 weeks now. I've lost 6 pounds so far, and I notice that I have more energy in the afternoon. Mornings are still tough, but I think that's because we're all adjusting to Son's new school schedule, which is now an hour earlier than last year.
We're leaving for Foxwoods Resort in a couple of hours and of course it's a girlparts day. Doesn't it always figure that's going to happen?
I was watching The Usual Suspects this morning when Son woke up and came downstairs, so I had to turn it off. He's now watching Yu-gi-oh or some bad Japanese anime show like that.
I've just called to make an appointment with a homeopathic specialist. My acupuncturist has been bugging me to do this for months.
I've put on almost 20 pounds since March, from the cyproheptadine taken for my migraines. I really need to lose that weight (plus a few more pounds), and get my eating and lifestyle back into my control.
But I managed to get a 1/2 day in at work. I'll need to go to the office tomorrow, but I can deal with that. Hopefully I'll be pain-free by then (*crosses fingers*).
